Cherwell Software: New EMEA Veep With Sales Muscle

White: First EMEA, then, the world…

News updates this week all the way from Colorado Springs USA but with an EMEA twist. Cherwell Software has appointed former EasyVista executive Andrew White as GM and VP for its EMEA region.

Cherwell itself is known as an IT service management (ITSM) tools and solutions provider with a self-service portal, powerful dashboards and reporting.

White’s placement coincides with the company’s recent opening of an office in Munich, Germany and it recent hire new CFO, Elizabeth Salomon earlier this month.

Formerly holding leadership roles at EasyVista and Numara Software (acquired by BMC Software), White is said to be a “proven sales leader” who has promised to grow the firm’s presence throughout the EMEA region.

Prior to EasyVista, White served in several roles at Numara including vice president and general manager for EMEA and chief marketing officer. Post BMC’s acquisition, he served as the area vice president of worldwide marketing at BMC.

“The IT service management marketplace is undergoing significant change and holds the key to IT operations and business efficiency transformation. There are only a few vendors who truly have the vision, product portfolio, global scale and most importantly; the people and a partnering culture,” stated White himself. “Cherwell has all of these ingredients and will be a welcomed option for organizations with service and asset management needs as we accelerate our investment in continental Europe.”

 ITSM… and ITAM too

Cherwell is also known for it’s ITAM expertise with its Express Software Manager product — a world-class IT asset management solution designed specifically for organizations seeking significant reductions in software audit risk, license spending and IT overhead.
